In the autumn of 2014, we flew a box full ofbrightly colored tape to Marseille in France and created this geometric,mind-bending, tape art piece at the concert & event venue, CabaretAléatoire.

For the event we wanted to push the boundariesof a seemingly 2D material and create something that jumped off the wall andmessed with the eyes.

The concept is based on a rhombus, composed ofdifferent geometric shapes. Due to the deep red base color of the wall, wechose to work with blue and reflecting aluminum tape to create a contrastingcolor scheme. This ultimately created the confusing, brain-twisting effect wehad in mind.
